Massimiliano Fiore

 

Founder and editor-in-chief of the Heptagon Post, Massimiliano is a Fellow at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, where he teaches Security Issues in the Middle East (inter/intra-state conflicts, insurgency and counter-insurgency, nuclear proliferation, terrorism) both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has previously taught at the London School of Economics and at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. He is the author of the book Anglo-Italian Relations in the Middle East, 1922-1940 (Ashgate: 2010). Born in Italy, Massimiliano received a BA in Political Science (Naples), an MA in International Affairs (Milan) and an MA in Diplomatic Studies (Rome). He then completed his education in the United Kingdom where he took an MA and a PhD in War Studies. Hehas travelled extensively all over the globe from a very young age, especially in North/South America, the Middle East and South-East Asia, learning about other cultures. Massimiliano lives in London with his wife Arabella and son Alessandro.
